Diana Reynolds is the founder of Spanish Buddies, a Montessori-inspired Spanish language program designed to cultivate early bilingualism and foster a lifelong appreciation for the Spanish language. She is a Montessori-trained educator with over a decade of experience working with toddlers and young children in early childhood classroom environments.
Originally from Colombia, Diana is a native Spanish speaker who specializes in immersion-based, Montessori-aligned language instruction. She holds an AMI 0–3 Montessori certification from the Montessori Institute of San Diego and a PMI Children’s House certification (ages 3–6) from the Prepared Montessori Institute—credentials that have significantly informed her pedagogical development and deepened her understanding of child-centered, developmentally appropriate practice. Through the intentional integration of music, movement, storytelling, and hands-on experiences, she designs carefully prepared environments in which children ages 2 to 6 acquire Spanish in a natural and meaningful way.
Informed by both her professional training and personal journey as a parent, Diana’s work is grounded in Montessori philosophy and a strong belief in the critical role of early language exposure. She is committed to supporting children’s cognitive, social, and cultural development through respectful, engaging, and developmentally responsive language experiences.
